The Pines ...
A gentle meander through pine forests. |
Lake Arrowhead's 18-hole championship course. The Pines
has been ranked among Golf Digest's top 75 public
courses in America and has also earned a 4-star rating
in Golf Digest's Places to Play. Designed
by noted golf course architects Killian and Nugent, the
Pines plays 6624 yards and has a slope rating of 135.
Tucked among tall pines and lush woodland, it provides
the ultimate golf experience for players of all skill
levels. Opened in 1982, The Pines has matured into the
golfing equivalent of a fine wine. It's meticulous
conditioning shows that well groomed courses are a top
priority at Lake Arrowhead. |

The Lakes ...
A challenging test of golfer versus water. |
Featuring water hazards on seven of the 18 holes, the
newest Lake Arrowhead course is not for the faint of
heart. Or the errant driver. It rewards the accurate
and punishes the gambler. Perhaps this combination of
scenic beauty and well-trapped beast is why The Lakes
was nominated as one of Golf Digest's Best New Public
Courses in America in 1999. This Ken Killian design offers
unsurpassed scenic beauty combined with the challenge
of a 140 slope rating. And, as always at Lake Arrowhead ...
the fairways are like greens and the greens are like
velvet. |
